Connecting People, Traditions & Generations

Prepare to be amazed the first time you visit the annual Greek Orthodox Folk Dance & Choral Competition (FDF). The teams start dancing around 8:30 am and continue until around 8:00 pm, with a new group taking the stage every 15 minutes. The 25,636 sq. ft. Marquis Ballroom stage is flanked by two Jumbotrons; the Platinum Ballroom, at 25,410 sq. ft., feels slightly more intimate. Professional musicians accompany many of the dance performances. The sights and sounds from on stage are vibrant and moving, with enthusiastic crowds watching and cheering. Dancers and parents fill the halls of the Anaheim, rehearsing, taking pictures, sipping coffee, and making plans to take a swim or meet for dinner.
