Connecting People, Traditions & Generations

See new films from Greece and Cyprus and works by Greek filmmakers from all over the world at the Los Angeles Greek Film Festival (LAGFF). The 10th annual LAGFF will take place June 1 – 5, 2016 at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood.

The Los Angeles Greek Film Festival aims to promote Greek films and culture, cultivate cross-cultural communication, and bridge the gap between Greek filmmakers and Hollywood.

The festival begins with a showing of Tassos Boulmetis’ film MYTHOPATHY (NOTIAS) on Opening Night. LAGFF 2016 will incorporate the Athens International Culinary Film Festival, which includes films and tastings from Greece. The Orpheus Awards, named after the Greek poet, celebrate the best in Greek cinema and will be awarded on Closing Night.
