FDF founder and Chairman Emeritus Peter Preovolos attended the 41st Greek Orthodox Folk Dance & Choral Festival in San Diego this past February. He spent the weekend cheering on his three granddaughters, now dancers in the program.

After the event, Peter was inspired to write an article about how FDF has changed and stayed the same over more than four decades. His piece discusses the stunning performances and moving spirit of the dancers, as well as suggestions for how to improve the festival even more.
