Connecting People, Traditions & Generations

Looking for something totally fun to do this weekend, away from the crowded beach scene? Head for the 42nd Annual Valley Greek Festival, being held May 23, 24, and 25 in Northridge, CA at Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. The homemade food alone is worth the trip: baklava, moussaka, spanakopita and gyros. Live Greek music will fill the air all weekend, and performers dressed in traditional costumes will entertain. You can shop, learn to dance, or just kick back with a Greek coffee. You will (almost) feel like you’re in a village in the old country. Hospitality and good cheer are at the heart of the festival. St. Nicholas Church is located at 9501 Balboa Boulevard, Northridge, CA 91325. Hours are from 1-9 pm.
